Uruguay managed to create traffic in the box, with two chances from a cross. The two were unable to connect, with Darwin Nunez whistling when receiving a pass and Suarez unable to reach the ball first for the other.

Several careful and precise passes allowed Hwang Ui-Jo to score for the middle of the box. But the striker’s shot sailed over the net to keep the game scoreless.
